
He was born in Imperial, Nebraska, the youngest of 10 children.
Robert grew up in Nebraska where he attended school.
At the age of 11, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He continued to serve the Lord in his church and in Set Free Prison Ministries.
He served in the Army and was stationed Fort Hood, TX and Germany.
On November 6, 1959 he was united in marriage to Deanna Adamson, beginning a relationship that spanned 54 years. To this union was born a son, Steven, and a daughter, Deborah.
He worked in the plumbing field and owned his own plumbing company.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna; son, Steven (Alicia) Ridlen of Palisade, NE, and his family, Lindsay, Shannon and Kelsey; daughter, Deborah Calvin of Aurora, CO, and her family, Andrew and Joshua (McKenna) Calvin; brothers, Carl (Virginia) Ridlen of Fairview, TN, and Ray (Thelma) Ridlen of Palisade, NE; sisters, Marie Mader of Lacey, WA, and Lucille (Verlon) Dinnel of Imperial, NE; and numerous nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Ryan Ridlen; brothers, Lee, Paul and Roy; and sisters, Lois and Pauline.
