

Roger Duane Dyrdal Jr., 45, passed away unexpectedly in Lubbock, Texas on Sunday, May 12, 2013. He was born January 11, 1968 in Thief River Falls, Minnesota to Linda and Roger Dyrdal. He grew up in rural Thief River Falls, MN and enjoyed life. He moved to Colorado with his parents in 1982, going back to Minnesota to finish his senior year and graduate at Lincoln High School. He enjoyed many things in life such as farming, fishing, 4 wheeling, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Roger loved his family and couldn’t seem to get enough of them. He loved his sisters and brother and always had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews and then his great nieces and nephew.
Roger was in the Army from February 1988 to December 1995. He spent 20 years as an over the road trucker with the last 7 years as an owner operator. He was employed for the last year with D&E Transport out of Clearwater Minnesota. He was a free spirit and his life was his truck and log books. He is survived by his loving mother, Linda Dyrdal; siblings; Lynn Smith, Jeri (Dennis) Thomas, Bryce Dyrdal, April (David) Cole; nieces and nephews, Andrea (Richard) Garrett, Michael (Ashley) Smith, Amanda Letcher, Cassandra Letcher, Dakotah Dyrdal, Emily Dyrdal, Drew Cole, Jordan Cole and 6 Great nieces and 1 great nephew. He was preceded in death by his father Roger Dyrdal Sr., maternal and paternal Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. He will be missed by everyone whose life he touched.
Visitation, Tuesday, May 21 from 4-6 pm; service, Wednesday, May 22 at 10 a.m. both at Olinger Highland Chapel, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, CO.
