

Ronald Crockett (Gramps) was born September 2, 1943 to Catherine & Felix Crockett, in Oakley, Kansas. He was the 5th child of nine.The family moved to Denver, Colorado in 1954. He grew up in East Denver, and grew to be a family oriented man. In 1960 he welcomed first daughter Paula. A year later he reunited with the love of his life Berta, He proposed to Berta with a soda can top. 55 years later it goes to show that love does not define material things. Upon their union they welcomed two Children Lavonne & Shirley. He worked for Swifts Meat Packaging Company, Safeways, & Denver Parks and Recreation where he grew to love gardening and the outdoors.
Ronald never went without a day checking on loved ones and friends. He took part in food banks and loved helping everyone around him. He was known for giving his last. He loves Boxing and has traveled around the United States to numerous boxing matches since the 70s. His favorite Football team is the “Raiders”, he hated the Broncos! He loved music; he had a music collection of over hundred(s) of album(s).
He leaves to cherish his memories: Berta Crockett (Wife), three daughters: Paula (Anthony), Lavonne, Shirley (Andre) Grandchildren: Raymon, Pavi-elle, Lance, Brittany, Whytnie, Brianna, Wayne, Brandie, Andre, Kashief, Kapone, Alexxis, Destinee, Devonte, Kiajah, Asonnie.
32 Great Grands, his three siblings Donna, Felix, and Beverly. Lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends he loved so much!
A viewing for Ronald will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11:00 am at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery located at 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. A graveside service will be held for Ronald at 12:00 pm on March 7, 2025 following the viewing. The family will host a repass after the graveside. The repass will be held at 597 S Clinton St, Denver, CO 80247 at 2:30 pm.
