Rosaline Ziegler, 91 of Thornton, CO passed away on January 25, 2025, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Antonino, KS on April 8, 1933, to Frank and Margaret (Rohr) Dechant. She was the seventh child of thirteen children. On April 14, 1953, she married Delphinus Ziegler of Collyer, KS. They were married 57 years before Del passed away in 2010.
Rosaline is survived by her children, Linda (Don) Kalkhorst, Ron (Judy) Ziegler, Gary (Kathy) Ziegler, and Renee (Jeremiah) Walters; Twelve grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Rosaline is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Margaret Dechant; her husband, Del Ziegler; her son, David Ziegler; three brothers, Alvin, Virgil, Herbert; and three sisters, Irene, Evelyn, and Betty Ann.
Rosaline was a faith-filled Catholic who spent hours in prayer and going to Mass. She enjoyed spending time with family, often playing cards for hours. She loved to travel, sew and embroider, play slot machines at casinos, attending plays at dinner playhouses, and working on word search puzzles.
Rosaline was the heart of her family, and she will be missed by all.
