Ryan Mattson

Ryan was born to Jerry and Mary Mattson on June 29, 1998 in Louisville, Colorado.

He graduated from Standley Lake High School and spent one year at Front Range Community College. Ryan began an auto mechanic apprenticeship where he was well mentored by his Uncle John and his shop lead Ryan, as well as putting in significant time and effort to learn the trade on his own.

Ryan used his imparted knowledge and continued to learn every day in his career as an auto mechanic for Ferrari of Denver, where he was well respected and an integral member of the dealership.

Ryan was a loving son, brother, relative, and friend who had a passion for snowboarding, lake surfing, and fixing things. He loved the outdoors and spent time camping, boating, and dirt biking. He loved to ride his motorcycle. He loved music. He loved to think deeply. He loved.

Ryan is survived by his parents Jerry Mattson Jr and Mary Mattson, brother Tyler, Aunt and Uncle Susan and John Brekke, grandmother Betty Ford (Gary), stepsister Heather Smith, cousins John Brekke Jr. (Courtney) and Greg Wellesley (Ken). He is proceeded in death by his grandfather Jerry Mattson Sr. and grandparents George and Barbara Palkovich. He leaves behind so many who love him and his fingerprint on so many hearts.

Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 18 at 11 am at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery at 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. Due to Covid Restrictions, please talk to the family prior to attending.
