Born on May 3, 1945, in Denver, Sharon spent most of her life in Colorado. She was strong and full of spirit, with a quirky sense of humor and a genuine compassion for those in need. Throughout her life, she held various jobs but being a mother was the role she cherished most.
Sharon had a creative side and was skilled at sewing, crocheting and many other crafts. Music and dancing always brought her joy, and Willie Nelson was her favorite. Autumn was the season she loved most, especially exploring the mountains with Larry. Georgetown was their favorite spot. In her later years, she found peace caring for her plants.
A private family service will be held to celebrate Sharon’s life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
