

Our beloved Shawn Alan Livingston, Sr., of Broomfield, left this earth on July 10, 2024. He was 61 years old. Shawn was born in Denver, Colorado on September 6th, 1962 to Steve and Shirley (Durbin) Livingston. His mother preceded him in death.
Shawn is survived by his loving wife, Colette Livingston of 46 years; three children, Tabetha Farmer and Tiffanie Maston and son-in-law, Tim Maston. Shawn, Sr. is reunited in reunited in heaven with his son, Shawn Alan Livinston, Jr. Shawn, Jr. passed away on November 26th, 2017. Together they share everlasting life with Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Other survivors include his father, Steve Livingston; siblings, Steve Livingston, Stacey Cooke, Sherri Livingston, and Gina Livingston.
Shawn was a master mechanic and welder of 43 years. One of the last boy scouts who made sure safety first and with his name on the Semitrailers, we were all guaranteed safe travels. Throughout his life, he always put others first. Shawn was a homerun hitter and enjoyed three decades of men's competitive softball. In 1991 he won the C.A.R.A. State Championship. It was during his softball career, he formed many life-long friendships He was a joy to watch compete. Shawn was a long-time muzzleloader with many hunts and ice fishing tournaments with Jr. and friends. He was often found at the drive-in with his family, fishing and swimming at Glenwood Hot Springs. Shawn also enjoyed stargazing with the love of his life. He had the greatest joy coaching Shawn Jr. in football through the Broomfield City league up to and including Legacy High School.
This wonderful man has given us all so many special memories. He will never be forgotten as he begins his journey to Heaven.
The last words he said to his wife were, " I'll meet you in the garden, my love," with three passionate kisses.
