Susan J. Neville

She left us while sleeping peacefully at The Denver Hospice at the age of 74 on July 15, 2022.

Born on October 23, 1947 in New York, New York; Susan was a voracious reader, volunteer, and scholar. After attending college at St. Bonaventure University Susan made the brave decision to move across the country to Denver, Colorado. The mountains drew her to the state, but her friends and family kept her there.

Susan was a high school French and Latin teacher for over 35 years, dedicating her life to education. She was a lover of travel, culture, singing, bridge, books and volunteering. She was always up for an adventure (especially if it included swimming and good food), incredibly loving, and someone you could always count on.

Susan is survived by her loving daughter Katy Neville and stepson Travis Minder. Katy and Susan were extremely close, as much of Susan's time was spent cheering her daughter on from the sidelines of soccer fields and life. Susan has always been proud to be Katy's mother.

Susan lived a full life and she will be deeply missed by her daughter, friends, and family.

Susan's celebration of life will take place at the Holy Cross Church at 9371 Wigham St, Thornton, CO 80229 on Friday, August 26th at 11am.
