Teresa Adelina Gomez passed away March 12, 2016 in Lafayette, Colorado surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 16, 1940 in Durango, Colorado to Aniceto and Adelina (Vallejos) Chavez. She earned her degree later in life and was eager to continue her education and was a teacher for several years. Teresa was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony; her children, Anthony Jr., Jaime, Elena (Kristi), and grandchildren, Christopher, Gabrielle, Adelina, Nico, Max, and Jaxson along with several other family members. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held at Olinger Highland Chapel, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 5-7pm followed by a recitation of the rosary at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial is being held Friday, March 18, 2016, 10:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn.
