

Tom lived in Englewood, Colorado for seven years and moved to Adams City in 1958. He attended Alsup Elementary School, Adams City Jr. High, and Adams City High School. Graduating from high school in 1969.
Tom entered the United States Navy (drafted) November 1, 1970, to March 23, 1973. He served as a Medic. He spent a month on a ship off the island of Okinawa, Japan during the Vietnam War.
After the Navy he married in 1973 and had two children, Dana Christian Bailey (Hollingsworth) and Michael Forrest Bailey.
Tom lived in the Thornton and Westminster area for many years raising his son, Michael. Eventually settling in Thornton, the last 12 years of his life. He worked for AT&T and its subsidiaries in Westminster, Colorado for many years and retiring from Avaya.
Tom did the best he could with the challenges of life. He was a son, brother, dad, grandpa, uncle, and friend. His release and enjoyment was watching sports – any kind – from a very young age and throughout his life. Go Broncos!
Tom is survived by his 2 sons - Dana and Michael (Sarah), 2 sisters - Brooke (Bruce) and Susan, 4 grandchildren - Bastian, Alexsis, Deacon, and Rory, 2 nieces - Lindsay and Samantha. Predeceased by his father and mother.
Final resting place will be a private ceremony at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
