Tito Montoya

Tito “The Tiger” Montoya Sr., 81 of Thornton, CO. entered into eternal life in Brighton, Colorado at his son Donny’s home on May 30th 2015. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren when the Lord took him home. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday June 5, 2015 at Radiance Church located at 8301 Rosemary St Commerce City, CO. at 12pm. Tito was born on February 6th, 1934 in Las Vegas, New Mexico. He married Mary Marrujo in February of 1952 and had five Children Tito Montoya Jr. (Rita), Raymond Montoya, Donny Montoya (Janice), Darlene Montoya-Valdez (Ted Valdez), and Chris Montoya(Merrie). Tito is survived by his wife Mary, five children, 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren and three siblings Jerry Montoya, Mary Montoya, and Frank Montoya all of Denver, Colorado and will join his 2 brother's Raymond Montoya and Alfonso Montoya in internal life.

Tito enjoyed Boxing, Baseball, Baking, Singing and Dancing. He spent most of his days with his beloved Wife, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Tito was known for his charismatic personality, his funny jokes, and his overall zest for life. His presence was known everywhere he went. Tito was very loving and giving by nature, and would help anyone who needed a hand. Family was the most important to him, and he was very, very close to everyone in his immediate family. He was loved and respected by his family, his friends, and his community. He will be deeply missed.
