Victoria "Vickie" Quintana

Victoria Lynn Quintana, 64, entered heaven on Friday, March 14, 2025, at her home in Denver, Colorado. She was born on May 31, 1960, in Westminster, Colorado. Vickie was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Mary Lopez. She grew up in a large, loving family and cherished helping her parents care for her brother Rudy throughout her life.

Vickie married Anthony on September 27, 1986, in Westminster, Colorado. They enjoyed 39 years of love and companionship, relishing their time together, as well as with their children and grandchildren. Family dinners and game nights were cherished traditions that brought them all together.

Vickie was truly special, possessing a heart of gold and a selfless nature with immense love to share. Those who met her spoke only of beautiful things, as she embodied the teachings of kindness and compassion. Her zest for life and unwavering spirit were a blessing to all who knew her. She was deeply rooted in her faith and made it a part of her daily routine to watch Mass and by going to church on Sundays.

Her career spanned 26 years at Denver Human Services (Social Services), where she made meaningful contributions before retiring in 2021. She also worked for Jefferson County for three years prior. Vickie loved her work and had great affection for her co-workers. Her life was defined by the love of her family and friends, as well as her dedication to her profession.

A proud mother and grandmother, Vickie is survived by her beloved husband Anthony Quintana, two children and dog, Maria (Jordan) Irwin and Isiah Quintana (Alicia Ortivez), Zuko (dog), along with her six grandchildren: Gray and Royal Irwin; Onyx and Legend Quintana; and Audrey Marquez-Ortivez and Aidyn Ortivez. She is also survived by her siblings: Patrick Lopez, Bernadette (Brian) Swearingen, Rudy Lopez, Melinda (Joseph) Centeno, and Melissa Lopez. Her memory will be cherished by all her in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Lopez, her sister, Cynthia Torres, and father in-law Lee Quintana.

A funeral service for Victoria "Vickie" will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 11:00 AM at Spirit of Christ Catholic Community Church, 7400 W 80th Ave, Arvada, CO 80003. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 3:00 PM at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229.
