She is the mother of Linda Smidt, Teresa (Lalo) Garcia and Larry (Laurie) Morris; and grandmother of James, Joseph, Kayla, Brandon, Robert, Kyle, Samantha and Matthew. Virginia is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, her younger sister, Antoinette Velotta, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She also leaves behind her loving and caring family of the past 5½ years – the staff & caregivers at Almost Like Home Assisted Facility in Arvada. She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Lancaster and her older sister, Josephine Velotta.
