

Albert C Saldivar “AL SAL” Died at his home in Tigard Oregon on Sept 11th 2012. He was born in Kearney Nebraska on March 18th 1938 and grew up there graduating from Kearney High School.
After his service in the Air force, he found himself in Portland Oregon in 1961 while looking for his Brother. He found a home in Oregon, married, and had 4 children.
Albert was employed by KB Woods & Associates, Marx & Chase which then became Chase Jones & Associates as a Surveyor then Cartographer. He was an avid Sports fan cheering for his favorite teams: The Dallas Cowboys and The Detroit Tigers or as he sometimes said, "Kittens" even when they were losing.
His Survivors Include: Sisters; Lupe Carranza of Kearney, Nebraska, Pauline of Denver, Colorado. Brothers; Eddie and JR Saldivar of California, Children; Tavie Saldivar, Aaron Saldivar, Jennifer Saldivar McGuire, and Angela Pickron.12 Grand Children: in order of birth Tommy, Reuben, Tia, Kerrin, Stephen, Amanda, Kacee, Dheaven, Loren, Tyler, Keanu, and Brenden and 4 Great Grand Children.
There will be a memorial service at Young’s Funeral Home in Tigard Oregon Tuesday September 18th at 11am. Visitation will
be before the service at 10:00 am. He will be laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery. At the conclusion of the memorial service there will be a formal motorcycle procession, a Shelter Service with full military honors.
