Anne Marilyn Braun

Anne M. Braun of Tigard passed away Feb. 20, 2022. She was 81. Anne was born March 4, 1940 in Portland, OR, the daughter of Floyd and Frances Michaelson. She was joined by her brother Larry James (Jim) in 1941.

She graduated from Franklin High School In 1957.

She attended Portland State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in 1962 and a Masters of Science in 1975. She taught elementary school a few years and was a school librarian in Canby for 22 years. She married William Braun Jr. in 1979.

Anne enjoyed reading, skiing, knitting, sewing and volkswalking with her dogs. She joined Multnomah Presbyterian Church in 2002 where she was active in teaching Sunday school, attending Bible studies and quilting group. She cherished the many friendships, old and new, she made over the course of her life and was truly grateful to have had each one.

Anne leaves behind a brother, 2 daughters, a stepdaughter, a stepson, 4 grandchildren and a step grandson.

A memorial service will be held at 10am, Thursday, Aug 4 at Multnomah Presbyterian Church.
