While spending nearly 40 years in the metal fabrication industry, his true passion was always being a positive force in his community and in the eyes of young people. He will be remembered fondly by all the kids in Medford he coached in softball and baseball.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart Jan, with whom he shared 59 wonderful years of marriage, his son and daughter-in-law Fred and April, his daughter and son-in-law Kristen and Bill, and his grandsons Ben and Sam; he also leaves behind his sister Sandie and her husband Mark; as well as a legion nieces and nephews. His family was truly the joy of his life.
