

Douglas was born on August 27, 1940 in Pomeroy, WA. Soon after his birth the family moved to Miton-Freewater, where he was raised and where he graduated from McLoughlin High School. He was married to Marilyn Somerville in 1960. Douglas and Marilyn divorced, and in 1985 he married Geralyn Norris.
Mr. Fellows attended the University of Oregon, and earned his degree in Law from Lewis and Clark College Northwestern School of Law. He was an attorney for 45 years. He took extreme pride in his work, having been a principal or partner in several firms prior to owning his own the last 14 years of his career.
Douglas enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
He was preceded in death by his wife Geralyn in 2008, and is survived by
two daughters, Lesli Bauder and husband Jonathan and their children,
Danielle Stewart, twins Brittani Bauder and Meghan Bauder, and Jessica Bauder,
all of Beaverton,
and Lori Fellows-Nelson and husband Paul and their daughter Abigail Fellows of Happy Valley, OR.
