Elizabeth Fairchild

Betty Fairchild went to live with her precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 25th, 2011. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a loyal, encouraging friend to so many. The Lord, family and friends were all important to Betty.

Betty was born and raised in Madison, New Jersey. She moved to Oregon in 1986.Betty was married to Harry Russell Fairchild for fifty years.

Betty was a 20 year volunteer at Meridian Park Hospital with the Chaplains Office and loved visiting and caring for people. She also volunteered at her beloved Lake Grove Presbyterian Church. Betty was active in church in both New Jersey and in Oregon.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Harry and sister Martha Gilmore. She is survived by her brother Clinton Shay; son John Fairchild (Lauraine); daughters Martha Gold (Michael); Beth Crosby; grandchildren Stephen Arthur; Russell Gold (Tessa); Sean Fairchild; Maryellen Fairchild; Aaron Crosby; Ryan Crosby and great granddaughter Mia Gold.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 4th at 2:00 pm at Lake Grove Presbyterian Church, 4040 Sunset Drive, Lake Oswego, 97035.
