Eric Anthony Thomas

Eric Anthony Thomas was the 4th child born to James Sr. and Irma Jean Thomas on October 22, 1960. Eric wears many hats as A Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and good Friend to so many. He didn't know a stranger, because everyone he met became a friend. Eric was always so funny and kept you laughing, which was the highlight of his personality; he loved to have fun. Eric attended Markam Jr. High School, and Lock High School in Los Angeles, CA. He was a firefighter for the correctional department for 6 years before taking an early retirement. And of course everyone knows he loved his 211's. Eric met his wife Seleana on August 2, 2010, and they married on August 12, 2017, just three years after moving to Portland, OR. Seleana and Eric happily lived in Portland together until his death on June the 3rd 2020.

It was a real joy just to be around him.

Eric was proceeded in death by his parents James Sr. and Irma Jean Thomas, daughter TaWanda, sister Kathy, brother Nate, and two granddaughters Toddalina & Cherise.

Eric leaves to treasure his memory his beautiful wife Seleana Diggs; 6 Daughter's:: Cherise, Trena, Kelli, Resse, Tammy (Sonya); 3 Son's:: Elliott, Cyrus (Muhammad); 6 Granddaughters:: Mya, Aniya, Tayonna, Ameerah, Victoria, & Sanya, Aiesha; 7 Grandsons:: Taijoun, Cory Jr, Amarion, Khristian, Isaiah, Josiah & Jeremiah, Ali; 2 Sisters:: Rosie, & Sabrina; 3 Brothers:: Greg, Ervin & James Jr.; 2 Daughter~N~Laws:: Tyeska (TeTe) & Shelly; Son-in-law:: Jason; 3 Sister~N~Laws:: Freda, Dianca, & Niche; 3 Brother ~N~Laws...Anthony, Karl & Robert, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

After the burial services, a repass will be at their home, 6301 SW Palatine St Apt A5 Portland, OR 97219
