Joey Paul Velardi

Joey was born on June 26, 1986 in Boston, Massachusetts and was the son of Paul and Jan (DaCosta) Velardi. At the age of 1 he moved with his family to Tigard, Oregon where he attended Tigard High School. He was a hard-working Entrepreneur who had a number of successful business endeavors.

Joey was religious and enjoyed attending church. He loved the City of Boston, the New England Patriots, tattoos and hot sauce. He also adored his dog, Teddy.

Joey loved the social life and was the life of the party. He was a loyal friend who was admired and valued by all who knew him. Once you were a friend of Joey’s, you were his friend for life. He was giving, determined, passionate and had a contagious smile and laugh. His family was his life and he loved children. He was looking forward to the birth of his daughter, JoJo and being a dad. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Joey is survived by his parents, Jan Velardi of Tigard, OR, Paul and Deborah Velardi of Spokane, WA and brothers, Danny Velardi and fiancé Jess, Michael Velardi, and Stephen Velardi of Spokane, Wa, his girlfriend, Brytish Pyle and soon to be baby girl, JoJo, of Beaverton and his grandparents Dan DaCosta, of Henniker, NH, Jean DaCosta of Western, MA and Joe and Mary Velardi of Burlington, Mass. along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

A visitation will be on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Young's Funeral Home. A celebration of Joey's life will be on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10:00 am at Resound Church in Hillsboro. Arrangements entrusted to Young's Funeral Home.
