Lisa Leanne Wittwer

She was born on May 10,1965 in Nevada, Missouri to Donald Owens and Linda Baker Owens. After graduating from Nevada High School in 1983 she attended Fort Scott Community College.

Lisa worked for the State of Missouri and for non-governmental organizations advocating for children’s health and social welfare issues.

In 2003, she moved to Portland, Oregon and opened Portland Waxing, which provided esthetician services from its location at Kiss Kiss Salon in North Portland for nearly two decades. Over the years, she developed a loyal client base, from all walks of life. The people she met in her professional life were among her dearest, most trusted friends.

She met Freddie Wittwer in 2008, and they were married on October 10, 2010.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Freddie Wittwer; her daughter, Alexandra Huppe; and her mother, Linda Baker Owens. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Owens, Jr.

Her memory will live forever in the hearts of all who knew her. A memorial service in her honor is being planned. Please check back for more information.
