I grew up with Maeve, from first before first grade we lived in the same neighborhood, and we stayed together through middle school at Sherwood Charter, and Sherwood High School. I was devastated to learn they passed. Maeve was one of my best friends in middle school and they helped me feel normal in the midst of conservative hardliners (including my parents). In case their mother reads this, please know Maeve was a wonderful human being to me, with yps and downs in our relationship, in the end, Maeve was nothing but a beacon of love in my eyes. You brought such joy to my life.  I miss you more than words can express.  I'll always will remember your joyful sweet spirit. You have the best heart. Your talent was amazing. I always thought you belonged in the theater.  I love you so much. Can't wait to see you in heaven.

Maeve had such an impact on my life. A lot of my firsts were with her. I will always remember skating with her, listening and sharing music with eachother. She gave me light shows, and did amazing things with fire poi. A beautiful soul and a big heart is how I can describe her. She helped me through a lot of my bullshit when I was a teenager and I'll never thank her enough for that. Even though are friendship got distant I had so much love and appreciation for her always. I still do. I will hold on to our memories forever.

I remember playing at recess together when I first moved here then fast forward to riding the bus together in high school swapping ear buds like cool kids listening to Skrillex. I’ll always remember you and cherish the memories you gave me❤️ 

I remember when we would always meet up together under the umbrella tree everyday during my lunch period to talk about life and how beautiful nature was. We would talk about how hard life could be sometimes and I always would speak truth of  how someday we would track foot in the arms of our Lord and how we would lay in the dirt and soak our toes in the mud and just sit and enjoy the peace nature brought to our souls. I love you Maeve. 

Every time I hear a Porter Robinson song...I can hear her singing to me. I remember the times she put herself in direct danger during the Portland protests. I remember the times where I thought “dammit Maeve!”. But all of those times looking back...where I saw her as reckless...she was so full of life. And I can only aspire to be as passionate and full of life as she was. She will forever live in my heart, and as a life lesson to live and love at my fullest capacity. She will always live in a special place in my heart❤️

We spent hours and hours talking and going anywhere our teenage minds wanted to take us, I can remember how sophisticated Maeves mind and thoughts were and the depth we could reach in our conversations. I’ll never have that sort of friendship with anybody else, She was a truely unique soul and I will forever miss her. ♥️

I have to many memories to share in such a short paragraph. The first thing I would like to address is the warming smile always given when being greated by this beautiful soul. So many laughs together. One great memory I have is watching V For vendetta while relaxing on the couch. You will ALWAYS  be remembered heavy in my heart.
