Onema Ilene (Braden) Kabusreiter, 91, passed away on January 13, 2014 in Tualatin. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church Monday, January 20, 2014 at 11:00AM. Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
Onema was born on August 29, 1922 in Lewellan, Nebraska to Henry and Emma (Thompson) Braden. She was married to d.John A. Kabusreiter. She was primarily a homemaker but also babysat, worked for the Lake Oswego School District in food service along with manufacturing. Onema was a parishioner at Our Lady of the Lake since 1953. She was a talented quilter and loved history.
She will be dearly missed by her two sons; Robert J. and Dwayne B., two daughters; Teressa O. and Diane I., 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
