Richard William Olsen

Dick was born October 22, 1946 in Red Wing, MN and passed away on May 9, 2011. He was raised in Washington, North Dakota, graduated from Hermiston High School and married Linda Craig in 1969. He attended OSU and graduated from WWSU in 1971. As an undergraduate Dick worked as a radio DJ. Working full time, he completed his law degree and graduated from Gonzaga Law School in 1974; passing the Washington Bar in 1975. Residing in Federal Way from that date until 1993, he moved to Lake Oswego passing the Oregon Bar in 1994. He then began as general counsel for Shari’s Management Corp., ultimately becoming a Vice-President.

Dick is preceded in death by his father Clyde and his wife Linda. Dick is survived by his mother Helen Adams, wife Diane Deardorff, children Eric (Aubre) Olsen, Julie (Jeremy) Olsen-Watson, Steve (Gritt) Deardorff, Lisa (Dave) Newbore and ten grandchildren.

A service is scheduled for May 20 at 2PM in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian
