Ryan Andrew Piper, 24, of Molalla, Oregon, passed away February 15, 2019. He was born in Portland, Oregon on December 28th, 1994. Ryan graduated from Reynolds High School in June 2013. His latest adventure was fulfilling a dream by traveling with his Uncle Ed in Vietnam.
Ryan worked in several different fields such as food service, customer service, event set-up and security. While he worked in many different fields, he seemed to enjoy the ones with the most human interaction. Recently, he developed a passion for working within political campaigns where he made life-long friends. Ryan was a leader among his peers, and he prided himself a wizard of peaceful conflict resolution. He was the go-to Techy to family and friends. Ryan would help family, employer or anyone who asked for help; he would do nearly anything to help someone in need.
Ryan loved music and performing in many different capacities. He first learned to whistle at 4 months old while sitting in his Grandpa Piper’s lap, and as we all know, he never stopped. He learned to play the trumpet and joined the jazz band in 6th grade at Walt Morey Middle School. He continued with Jazz band, played French horn in symphony orchestra and sang in choirs at Reynolds High School. He loved a musical challenge and felt a sense of great accomplishment when new skills were mastered. His favorite activity was to go Karaoke with friends.
Ryan will be forever remembered by his parents Kenneth and Deborah Piper, his sister and brother-in-law Alishia and Michael Garcia, his son Jared Daniel Spencer, his grandparents Ron and Linda Piper, Tommy and Carmon Groff, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
