One of our gifts from God we received in 1985 when the Hughes' and the Hettchen's met.  We've shared many wonderful moments together along with the sad ones.  One piece of our 'foursome' is looking down from above  (now) but he knows we will take care of one another.

While we could list many good times, we will just share a learning experience we had at the hands of 'Dear.'  Of course, it involves fishing from the beach!  Please know that before you ever put a line into the 'ocean', you must drive up-and-down the beach in your vehicle with eyes focused on the water!  This is called "eye-balling."   Fishermen are most likely familiar with this term but to 'newbies' it needed to be explained!  We eye-balled a lot and got pretty good at it.  'Dear' caught the fish because not only was he good at eye-balling, he was also good at fishing.   

'Dear' will be missed but he lives on through the hearts of his family and his many friends.

Went through the Police Academy with Adrian, starting  June 20, 1966. Adrian was a very personable guy and friendly. May he Rest In Peace.

Dear Dad,
You are my best friend, the best man, and your ability to blend straight-faced seriousness with a piercing wit was magical and hysterical.  Quoting movies and quoting historical figures showed your true genius...
You taught me to respect nature and life - and exuded pride when I would demonstrate this value. You also taught me that life is unfair but, as an individual, I may treat others fairly. 
I hope to ingratiate Christmas Vacation, FBDO, Blazing Saddles, and Airplane unto a new generation and instill laughter into the family. 
You never disappointed. 
Growing up your son and namesake was, and continues to be, special. I will miss too many thing to enumerate; however, I will fondly recall each round of golf, each trip to the beach, each financial lesson, each supportive act, and all of your lessons you taught me - and I will try to teach my children those same lessons.

So sad to hear of Adrian's passing.  I remember him well. we saw each other often. He was a very quiet but a fun guy to talk with. He enjoyed his time with the Police Dept. and was easy to talk to. He will be missed by all who knew him, may he rest in peace. My condolences to his family..
