My name is Robin Pollock.  I just today saw this trying to find some of my dad's friends. My father was Lou Edwards.  Bob sponsored my dad in his motorcycle racing career and was a good friend to him and father figure.  Both my parents have passed away at a young age.  I'm sorry to hear about Bob and I hope the family is doing well.  I am on facebook if anyone wants to contact me.  I found an old bumper sticker from his motorcycle shop.

I so remember the visits to the family farm in Bath MI.  The good country cooking bu Aunt Fleda and the stories told by Uncle Roy.  To the family, my thoughts are with you at this time.

I never had the honor of meeting Bob but the impact that he made is immense.  The life lessons that he taught and the influence that he had reached so many lives I have to say "Thank You Bob".  You will truly be missed!!

Words cannot even begin to express or sorrow.  You were more than a friend to Kenny; you were a father in many, many ways.  PoppyBot to our sons and to me you were a large piece of my heart.  We will miss you terribly, until me meet again, all my love.

I didn't know Mr Boutwell personally, but I knew of his shop in Fells before my time, of his legendary name, and his son Greg. I knew that he and Triumph Motorcycles were practically synonymous. I would enjoy hearing more of people's stories of Mr Boutwell and the little motorcycle shop that made me seek a career in motorcycle shops. And it's because of Mr Boutwell that I will one day own a Triumph motorcycle. Rest well.

Bob will be missed but he is now with his Maxine. 
Will always remember the good times working at the shop and having cookouts on the farm.
My prayers are with the family. Rest in peace Bob.

What a great guy and a super family. My heart goes out to Greg, Lynn, Rob and their families. The photos brought back many memories of the shop on Broadway and then Cockeysville, and the involvement of the family in the sport of motorcycle racing in general. May his wonderful legacy live on in his children and their families.

Memories of Uncle Bob from childhood visits to the farm in Bath recall smiles, laughs and fun loving teases as uncles do with their nieces and nephews. I'm grateful for my recent time with him and all of you.  Family is a gift to cherish.

Bob was an icon of the era and put Cockeysville on the map as much as Nixon did. He was a good man and a decent person to work for--and buy motorcycles from. He will be long remembered. I salute you Bob, and all your accomplishments.

 Greg, Lynn and Rob - knowing your dad for over fifty years was one of the highlights in my life.
