Chris was a man of many talents and passions, most notably his deep love for music. Whether it was the timeless sounds of Pink Floyd or the thoughtful melodies of Supertramp, music was the soundtrack of his life.
But Chris was more than a music lover—he was a true craftsman. A DIY expert at heart, he could fix just about anything. From home repairs to car projects, he approached every task with skill, patience, and pride. What truly set him apart, though, was his desire to share that knowledge.
Chris also had a deep appreciation for the world around him. He found peace and excitement beneath the waves as a scuba diver, exploring underwater landscapes with curiosity and awe. Behind the lens of a camera, he captured the beauty he saw—whether it was the vibrant life of the ocean or everyday moments with his family. His photography reflected the way he viewed life: with wonder, intention, and heart.
Family was the cornerstone of Chris’s life. He was a proud father who found his greatest joy in watching his children grow, guiding them with quiet strength and steady wisdom. His generosity extended well beyond his home. Whether it was lending a hand to a neighbor, providing out ice to an event, or volunteering at his children’s school events, Chris showed up—with a big heart and helping hands.
Chris is the husband of Joy M. Harris; devoted father of Gregory P. Harris and Allison E. Harris; son of William A. Harris, and the late Grace A. Harris; dear brother of Julie Christopherson and William ”Bill” Harris; close friend of Bob deVries.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025 at 10:30 am at Druid Ridge Cemetery, 7900 Park Heights Ave, Baltimore, Maryland 21208.
