Peacefully with Larry by her side on May 20, 2021 FRANCES “Fran” E. Miller; beloved wife of Laurence “Larry” E. Miller, Jr.; loving mother of Laurence E. Miller, III and his spouse John Ambrose and Laurie Wesleigh Rijodelarosa and her spouse Edwis Rijodelarosa.
Fran was raised in Virginia and left home as a teenager to begin her life adventure in Baltimore. Shortly after moving to Baltimore, she met the love of her life, Larry, at age 16. Their love story never dimmed, and only became brighter through their marriage of 68 years.
After marrying Larry, they raised their children together whom she loved deeply. She taught them to set their path in life and to follow their own dreams. She was also a mother figure to their friends and continuously part of their lives.
Fran enjoyed many social groups throughout her life which included tennis clubs, the Diamond Club Cruisers, the Baltimore Kickers and the Son’s of Italy – Towson Dulaney Lodge. Larry and Fran were avid travelers and enjoyed sightseeing along with shopping around the world. Their love of dance started in the fifties with the Jitterbug, followed by square dancing as a family in the seventies and continued as ballroom dancers with their large social group in the new millennium.
Whether through fashion in her home, Fran appreciated beautiful things and mastered the art of accessorizing. When at home she enjoyed watching the birds in the garden and their beloved squirrel, Groucho.
Fran was most happy when surrounded by her family. She treasured a strong connection with her Virginian relatives. Times in Virginia were enjoyed by family, laughter, and good southern food.
Fran made every holiday special by filling her home with homemade goodies, fancy dinners and friends who were always considered family.
Fran loved angels which were sprinkled around her home. She always wore angels pin on trips and gifted them as she made new friends. She was comforted by the presence of angels and her family is comforted knowing that she has become their angel.
The family will receive friends in the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a Celebration of Fran’s life beginning at 4:00 pm.
