Very sorry to hear of Henry's passing.  I will forever treasure my memories of him and Marisa, and how they always treated me as one of their own.  My thoughts are with you.

Henry was a loyal parishioner and a faithful usher as well as a good  friend. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers along with Marisa and his family.

I am deeply saddened to hear that your Dad has passed. Truly, I believe, that when our parents moved us to Maryland over 40 years ago from all over the country to start new lives & jobs in Hunt Valley, the friendship and fellowship, that was for a time, in Springlake, filled the void of leaving our families so far away. That void is now present again in all of us, hopefully not too long, being quickly filled by all the memories of the special man your Dad was to all of us. After he catches up with everyone he hasn't seen in a while, I know that he'll be looking in on you all with his grandiose smile. Thank you Uncle Hank for everything, from your family friends, the Domozych's.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Only time I met Mr G was at Jamie n Jimmy's wedding. He was vibrant, happy and full of life. What an amazing man. In your time of sorrow I hope you find the memories so grand that they constantly put a smile on your faces. May he be reunited with his loved ones and may he rest in peace.

I was his bridge partner in the St. joe's league for 4 years. Henry was very dear to me and will always remain in my heart and prayers.

As a child I viewed my uncle as a giant. He was the tallest man in my life. Tall and silent he seemed out of place in my home where everyone was short and loud. His very presence commanded my attention and, I admit, my fear. I could never judge how he felt; and therefore, I held my distance. Nevertheless, in my uncle's presence I always seemed to do the unspeakable. Blinded by my shame I paid little attention to my uncle's responses.

Children grow up... I can assure you my uncle was a giant among men. He was tender and kind, never raising his voice and always seeing the humor in situations. He allowed for mishaps as part of life and "going with the flow" long before it was part of our culture to do so. He did not scold or preach but let consequences be a guideline. His humor was subtle but pronounced and it floated seamlessly with conversation. He was a gentleman, sophisticated, elegant and gallant. He put the needs of others before his own and seemed happiest when he could please those close to him. He reveled in the achievements of his family and loved and cared for each with every fiber of his being.

Distance has separated our families for years but the love garnered crosses every bridge, remaining in our hearts. My uncle has died. His love lives.

I remember my favorite uncle as gentle and kind.  Always a joy to be around.  My father would endearingly call him "may as well Henry" because years ago when they were in a car together and were lost, my dad would say should we go this way Henry...and he would respond "may as well."  Uncle Henry took life in stride.
