Janet L Daum

On September 18, 2010 Janet C. Daum (Nee Chilcoat) of Timonium, MD died of pancreatic cancer. She was 74. Devoted wife of John E. Daum; Beloved daughter of the late John Earl Chilcoat and Pauline Justice Chilcoat Armacost of Sparks, MD; loving mother of Laura Ann Livingston and her husband Samuel; dear grandmother of Lindsey Justice Livingston and Riley Nicole Livingston; also survived by many cousins.

Janet was a member of the last graduating class of the Sparks High School 1953 and Graduated from the Union Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1956. She spent most of her nursing career as a staff nurse or a private duty nurse there . She retired in 2005 from geriatric nursing at the Brightwood Retirement Community.

She was a member of the Sparks Hereford Alumni Association and the Union Memorial Nursing Alumni Association. Janet was a member of the Towson United Methodist Church for thirty six years. Janet was a devoted member of the Candle Lighters choral group.

The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc. 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM. A funeral service will be celebrated in the Towson United Methodist Church, 501 Hampton Lane Towson, MD on Wednesday, September 22 at 11AM. Interment Private.
