Lawrence Raymond Arbaugh, age 71, of Great Cacapon, WV died Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA. Born October 18, 1940 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Marvin and Yvetta Arbaugh. He was a dockworker with Teamsters Local #639 in Baltimore, Md. Retiring from Yellow Freight Company in 2000. Lawrence was also a former drummer with the “Papa Bears” in Baltimore where he was known as Dingo. When he and his wife lived in California he met and played with the Righteous Brothers. He was a nature and animal lover.
Mr. Arbaugh is survived by his wife, Gayle Louise Arbaugh, two daughters, Christine Butler, Tampa, FL, Melody Arbaugh, Baltimore, MD, two sons, Stephen Eberhardinger, Baltimore, MD, Mark Eberhardinger, York, PA, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Bosley.
The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM. A funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday, July 20 at 11AM. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
