Mary Louise Leibforth

She was the beloved wife of nearly 58 years of Thomas William Leibforth until his passing in 2012. Devoted mother of Marian L. Chaprnka and her husband Anthony, Dr. Barbara L. Jarrell and her husband David, and Michael T. Leibworth and his wife Michele; Sister of David McMahon, and Carol Heil and the late Patricia Cimino, Tom McMahon and Leonar McMahon.

Beloved Granny of: Maribeth Weatherford and husband Grady, Gregory Chaprnka, Kara Chaprnka and husband Lucien Filip, and Elyse Chaprnka. John Downes and wife Hillary O'Neil, Brett Downes, Ryan Downes, and Andrew Jarrell. Brooke Leibforth-Hamilton and husband Christopher, Justin Leibforth and wife Nicole, and Austin Leibforth and wife Nicole.

She was the most precious great-grandmother of Logan Weatherford, Chloe Hamilton, and Eleanora Hamilton. She is also survived by her brother, David McMahon and his wife, Theresa, sister Carole Heil and her husband, John, sister-in-law, Joan McMahon, and by many loving nieces, nephews, and their families.

She was born Mary Louise McMahon at the family home on Harford Road in Baltimore to William B. and Anna K. (Schuster) McMahon. She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Cimino, and two brothers, William T. McMahon, Sr., his wife Betty, and Leonard McMahon. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and spent many years as an antiques dealer in Cockeysville and Reisterstown. She and her husband, Tom, were longtime residents of Timonium, MD.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 10 am at St. Joseph's Church 101 Church Lane, Cockeysville, MD, followed by the funeral Mass at 11am, and burial at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
