Mary Teresa Metzger

Mary Teresa Metzger of Boulder passed away June 3, 2015 in Boulder, Colorado. Mary was born October 28, 1956, in Baltimore, MD to Clarence and Marie Hinke. She grew up in Baltimore with her eight brothers and sisters and attended college at Mt. St. Mary’s in Emmitsburg, MD. She earned her MBA from the University of Baltimore. She married David Metzger on March 1, 1988, in Zermatt, Switzerland. They have four daughters, Elle, Carrie, Abby and Ruthie.

Mary and David moved to Boulder in 1996, where she worked as a CPA in various industries. Mary enjoyed the Colorado lifestyle, going on walks and hikes with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father and one brother, Jimmy. She is survived by her husband, David, four daughters, her mother, Marie, 3 sisters, Mimi, Patti and Anne, and four brothers, Joe, Jack, Michael and Eddie, all of Baltimore.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 101 Church Lane, Cockeysville, MD 21030 on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 10 AM. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
