Following a brief illness on June 13, 2013 MATTIE JUANITA CHILDS (nee White); beloved wife of the late Col. George L. Childs, Sr., Ret. US Army Reserves; loving mother of George L. Childs, Jr. and his wife Christine and Patricia A. Bardzik and her husband Mike; dear sister of Ruby Henley, Gladys Peeke and her husband J.B. and Lillian "Bean" Acton; cherished "grandma" of Brian Childs, Greg, Tim and Dan Bardzik; great-grandma to Matthew, Ava and Noah.
The family will receive friends in the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC. 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Sunday, 7-9pm and Monday, 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Services will be celebrated in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 18 at 11am. Interment Parkwood Cemetery.
