AVIS DE DÉCÈS

Robert Arthur Bell

27 septembre 1936 – 5 février 2025
Avis de décès de Robert Arthur Bell
AUX SOINS DE

Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley Inc.

Robert (Bob) Arthur Bell, formerly of Bronxville, NY, passed away on February 5, 2005, at the age of 88, son of William and Edith Bell. Born in Yonkers, NY, Bob graduated from Roosevelt High School, received his degree from Westchester Community College, and honorably served in the U.S. military during the Korean War. With a love of math and computers, Bob was the Vice President of Westchester Audio Visual, where he outfitted schools across New York with their technology and computer needs. Most notably, Bob led the computer installations on the USS Intrepid and at the Richmond Planetarium. Bob was a proud Eagle Scout and later served as a Scoutmaster for his son’s Cub Scout and Boy Scout troops.

In retirement, Bob and his wife, Jacqueline, moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where he enjoyed his vigorous walks, time by the pool reading the latest James Patterson book, and crab feasts. Bob found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandchildren—whether on a ballfield, at a concert, playing cards, or simply gathered around the dinner table.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Jacqueline; his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer (Bell) and Jon Ellwanger of Baltimore; and his son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Elizabeth (Rudy) Bell of Harrison, NY. “Papa” was the cherished grandfather of six grandchildren—Evan, Caitlin, Jonathan, Rebecca, Katherine, and Sophia—and “Uncle Bobby” to many nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.

A celebration of life will be held in Baltimore, Maryland at a later date to honor and cherish Bob’s remarkable life.

Interment will be private.
