Deepest sympathy to family. Greg, Joe, Todd and Chris, so sorry for your loss. As well as Kenny and Rebecca. Tia had an amazing smile, and eyes that lit up the room.

A brighter light is often preceded by a time of shadows. Faith and hope are those candles that we hold against the darkness. And the darkness, not even death, cannot and will not overcome the light we hold within us and that Light that embraces us now and forever. Tia, in you the light of God was reflected - in your struggles and in your joy. I thank God for the gift of beauty with which you graced St. James' altar - through the flowers you provided week after week and year after year. And I thank God for the beauty that God expressed in you and has now made complete.

Tia was creative and colorful in all aspects of her life. I always stopped to chat with her at Grauls to catch up, particulary on Rebecca. I never left without having a good belly laugh. Her quick witty sense of humor and irreverant comments were a hallmark.  We used to speak of our daughters weddings and how we would see each other there. I'm glad I was there to care for Tia in her last weeks of life. I was the last one besides Rick, to take her in my car on a journey to the hospital. She wore a lovely lavender beret and beautiful jewelry to match. It was important to her that they matched. I sat with her, stroked her soft hair and made her laugh often. I even told her that it was nice chatting with her even though she wasn't coherent in the end. I learned that one should always assume that they hear you.

Rebecca,  I am so sorry about your mother.  We met just once, but I remember her as a warm and lovely lady.
