On Friday, May 23, 2025 Sue Standiford Guthmann went home to be with the Lord. She is the beloved wife of nearly 47 years to John A. Guthmann; devoted mother of Heather McDonold (Daniel) and Joe Guthmann (Trish); cherished grandmother of Gabriel McDonold; dear sister of Ron Standiford (Darby). Sue is the aunt of 2 nieces and is survived by other loving family and friends. She will be remembered for her love of the arts and her creative spirit. She was quick to laugh, particularly at slapstick or gags. Her smile was contagious, and she remained a child at heart, even as she approached the end of her time with us.
Services and interment will be private invitation.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that charitable donations in Sue's name be made to Grace Lutheran Church of Lutherville 8601 Valleyfield Road, Lutherville-Timonium, MD 21093.
