Freda M. Schaefer

Freda M. Schaefer, age 71, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away with her loving family by her side on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Ebeid Hospice. She was born in Toledo on December 13, 1942 to Vern and Wilma”Friess” Osenbaugh. Freda loved playing card games, especially Michigan rummy and euchre. She also enjoyed bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Wilma Osenbaugh and brother Raymond Osenbaugh. Freda is survived by her devoted children, Charles (Jenny) Schaefer and Paula (Roy) Leach, her grandchildren, Cassie (Joel) Cline, Katie Schaefer, Kyle Leach, Amanda O’Leary, Nate Leach, Sarah O’Leary, Baillie Leach, and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Vern (Margaret) Osenbaugh, Loretta Rasmussen, Richard Osenbaugh, Donald Osenbaugh and Malinda (Bruce) Robertson.

Visitation for Freda will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Thursday, January 9 from 2:00 pm until time of funeral service beginning at 7:00 pm.
