Jack Simpson

battle with cancer. Mr. Simpson was a brick and block mason and he enjoyed hunting, fishing,

shooting the breeze and riding his Harley. He will be sadly missed and loved forever. He was

born in Muncie, Indiana on April 27, 1944 the son of Mary Jo Simpson and the late Roger

Newton Simpson. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Eileen Simpson; two daughters,

Veronica Mullen (Joe) and Jackie Womack (Bill); one son, Creighton Simpson (Pam);

stepchildren, Carla Whiteman (Omar) and Julie Taylor (Beth); grandchildren, Kristy Whiteman,

Amber Whiteman, Faylynn Himes (Christopher), Devon Sweet, Mechael “Mud Duck” Boling,

Sarah Womack, Will Womack; A. J. Taylor and Punkin; great grandchildren, Coltn Abell, Kendall

Abell, Conner Miller and Makayla Womack. Funeral services for Jack Simpson will be held at

the Barbour and Son Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Monday, August 26, 2013 with Rev. David

Shoemaker officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held

at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
