Alejandro "Hondo" A Torrez

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of our brother Alejandro A. Torrez Jr. “We will all miss him more than words can express”. Alejandro A. Torrez Jr., lovingly known as “Hondo” age 49, peacefully entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 17th. 2024, in Sun City AZ. surrounded by family far and near with love. Born on May 2nd. 1975, in Grants, New Mexico. Hondo brought joy, laughter, and a generous spirit to all who knew him. He will forever be remembered for his kindness, resilience, humorous stories and deep love for his family. His strength, loyalty, and warmth has been etched in our hearts.

Hondo was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Andres Alejandro and Maria Magdalena (Montoya) Torrez. His sister Rebecca Cardenas, his brothers Joel and Jessie Torrez, niece Yvonne Chavez, and nephew Rudy Gallegos.

Hondo leaves behind his children Andres and Britnie (daughter-in-law) Torrez, Gabriella Torrez, Enriquez Jaramillo and Arianna Jaramillo. Hondo’s memory will also be held close by his brothers and sisters Pauline (Anthony) Chavez, Margaret (Orlando) Chavez, James (Joanna) Torrez, Juan (Jessica) Torrez, Veronica (Raymond) Montano, Nadine (Roger) Rodriquez, Cathrine (Melchor) Erives, Jackie Torrez, Alexandra (Edward) Veloz; Brother-in-law Antonio Cardenas, Sister-in-law Tamara Bartunek Torrez along with many Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be held in San Rafael Catholic Church, San Rafael, New Mexico

Rosary on January 19th. @ 6:00 PM

Mass on January 20th. @ 10:00 AM
