"Cruz Yessenia Chavez Garcia was born on July 10, 1980. She would grow up to be a strong, powerful, woman who would do anything for her family. Sometime in 2012, she had a stroke in her head, but after hospital visits, she would later recover to continue the rest of her life to push forward and do her best. She wouldn't let anyone or anything get in her way. She was a loving mother of 1 girl and 1 boy and stepmother of 2 girls, and a caring step grandmother of 4 girls. She was a beautiful and generous sister, wife, and friend. She was survived by her two kids, Emily Guerrero Chavez and Juan Daniel Guerrero Chavez. A life well lived, she will remain in our hearts forever."
A visitation for Cruz will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Advantage Crystal Rose Funeral Home, 9155 West Van Buren St, Tolleson, AZ 85353, followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
