It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cynthia Ann Garcia, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, tia, and friend who left us too soon at the age of 62. Cindy passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024.
Born on August 27, 1962, Cindy was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. As a devoted single mother, she worked tirelessly to provide for her children, putting their needs above her own. Her unwavering strength made her the rock of her family, and she was a source of love and support for her parents and siblings throughout their lives.
Cindy had an extraordinary passion for helping others, particularly in the disabled community. Her work was not just a job; it was a calling. She dedicated countless hours to teaching, advocacy, and support, ensuring that everyone felt valued, included, and, more importantly, loved. Her compassion knew no bounds, and she touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on her surroundings.
In addition to her dedication to service, Cindy would find joy and solace in creating homemade goods like tamales and baked goods. She often shared her goodies with friends and family, infusing her love into every item. Her treats were a reflection of her loving spirit and her desire to bring joy to others.
A devoted Christian, Cindy's faith was the foundation of her life. She was an active member of her faith community, always ready to lend a helping hand, a listening ear, and words of advice. Her kindness and faith inspired those around her, fostering a sense of hope and love.
Cindy was also a loving grandmother, cherishing every possible moment with her five grandsons. Her warmth and affection were evident in the special bond they shared, and she delighted in passing down her faith, values, and creativity to them.
Cindy is survived by her beloved children: John, Christine, Priscilla, and Andrew, her siblings: Yvonne, Julio, Rosa, Manuel, Linda, Diane, Arnold, Jesse, Pauline, and Valentine and her cherished grandsons: Adam, Jackson, Sebastian, Matthew, and David all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts. Her legacy of love, compassion, and creativity will live on in the lives she touched.
Though her time with us was far too brief, Cindy's love and spirit will forever remain a guiding light for all who knew her.
