Elvira "Vera" Fernandez

Elvira “Vera” Fernandez has gone to heaven. She is preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Amada Fernandez, her son Daniel Rodriguez, her grandson Robert Castaneda jr. and brothers Luis, Daniel and Samuel. She is survived by her children Irene Bustos (Ruben), Armando Arvizu Jr. Granddaughters, Sabrina, April, and Cielo ,Veronica. Great-grandchildren, Zachary H. Jr., Camilla O. and Azalaya ,Malikai S. Brothers Frank, Clemente, Ignacio, Salvador,Jesse,Fernando, Daniel, Margaret and Chano. She was a loving mother, best nana, devoted sister, wonderful aunt and great friend! Her dog Nahala ❤️meant everything to her! She worked as a social work helping in the community. Worked with Cesar Chavez and the farmworkers. She loved Music! She enjoyed singing especially with mariachis. Her life was cut to short by ovarian cancer, but she will shine like a shooting star. Love You Always!! Rest In Peace Mom🌹♥️🙏🏽

A graveside service will occur Monday, November 28, 2022 from 12:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392.
