

Joe M. Flores is survived by his wife, Maria D. Flores, 3 sons, Joseph M. Flores (Vanessa), Elias R. Flores (Marina) and Isaac R. Flores, 5 grandchildren, Marisa, Jacob, Reyna, Isaiah and Joshua. He is survived by 6 siblings, Victoria Espinoza, Estevan Flores, Marylou Rodriguez (Jesse), Jennie Spence, John Flores (Virginia) and Tino Flores (Irene). He is preceded in death by mother, Luisa Flores, father, Enrique Flores, brother, Henry Flores, brother-in-law, Clyde Spence and nephew, Frank Flores.
Joe was born on January 20, 1948, in Brawley, California. He graduated from Brawley Union High School. He married the love of his life, Maria D. Flores on June 26, 1971. Joe was a hard worker but his real passion was playing the trumpet for the multiple bands in Imperial Valley, California, such as, Soul Session, Zapata and Charro. Joe was a man of multiple talents. He loved fishing with his sons on Shelter Island and with his grandchildren anywhere there was water and fish. He took up wood craving as well. He would display all of his work at wood craving shows throughout San Diego. He loved watching his grandkids play multiple sports. The one sport that he loved most was Boxing and UFC. He was a diehard Charger fan as well. Most of all, Joe will be remembered as a kind-hearted, helpful, jokester, loving and faithful man.
A funeral is scheduled for November 1, 2019 at Advantage Crystal Rose in Tolleson, Arizona. Viewing begins at 10:00 am and Service at 11:30 am. A reception will follow at Casa Martinez
