Jose De Jesús, born on September 1, 1961, has reunited with his father, Jose De Jesús Aguayo, Sr and his mother Ana María Aguayo on January 14th, 2021. Jose is survived by his wife, Eloísa Aguayo. His five children: Jaime, Andres, Cristina (Dolan), Ricardo and Daniel Aguayo. Eight grandchildren: Mylah, Daniel Jr “Cheton”, Amelia “Meli”, Jaime Jr, Layla, Joey, Cataleya and Johnnie. Seven siblings: Antonio, Carlos, Stella, Maura, Maria, Alvaro and Guadalupe.
Jose was the proudest dad and grandpa. He enjoyed to spend time with his family the most. Always with a smile on his face and ready to have long and great conversations. Anyone who met him have said they could talk to him for hours. He was extremely loving and welcoming. Jose often picked up courses at ASU to show his family that one should never stop learning. He was always available to be on “Grandpa Duties.” He loved to take his grandkids out to eat and to the park. He made sure to always make time for his children and grandchildren — his “top priority” as he would say. His favorite pass time was watching baseball, especially if his favorite team, the Los Angeles Dodgers were playing. You’d often find him with his family at the baseball stadium in Los Angeles or in Phoenix if his Dodgers were in town. Growing up, family vacations consisted of road trips to Mexico, listening to his favorite group ‘Los Bukis’ the whole way there. He was the most loving father anyone could ask for. We’ll miss you, Dad. Our #1 forever. Until we meet again.
