Lynn Renea Mayfield, 54, of Goodyear, passed away on Monday December 17, 2012 from a prolonged, hard fought battle with liver disease. She was born July 17, 1958 to Rocky and Maxine Stewart in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Lynn was raised in Arlington, AZ. She attended and graduated from Buckeye Union High School. She then moved to Texas where she was blessed with her three children, Destini, Rocky, and Kasey. Lynn moved back to Arizona in 1988, where she then began her career working at Penske Truck Leasing. She worked at Penske Truck Leasing for over 24 years in which she started off working as a clerk and worked her way up to District Administrator of the Western Region. She won District Administrator of the year in 2011 along with many other awards during her career. Lynn continued to work all the way up until the day the disease would no longer allow her to.
She is survived by her two daughters, Destini Mayfield and Kasey Mayfield; her son Rocky Mayfield; her parents Rocky and Maxine Stewart; her two brothers, Randy Stewart and Kevin Stewart; her two sisters Valerie Stewart and Margaret Stewart; two grandchildern Rocky Mayfield Jr. and Mackinizi Mayfield.
Lynn was was truly selfless. She lived for others and especially for her children. She always put everyone first and rarely thought about herself. Lynn had a heart of gold and everyone that she met was left with a lasting impression. Her work friends were like her family and many of them thought of her as a mom as well. She had a great sense of humor and a great outlook on life. She taught her children to be humble and grateful and to never judge others. She loved unconditionally and she lived just as the Lord would want her to live.
Lynn will never be forgotten and will forever be missed. May she live forever in our hearts and minds.
