Oscar was born on May 15, 1972, in Mexicali, Baja California. He and his family moved from Mexico to California in 1979 when he was seven years old. When he was sixteen, his family then relocated to Arizona where he spent the remainder of his life. He worked as a sales representative in Phoenix. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with loved ones and friends, watching sports, and was an avid car enthusiast. Oscar was hardworking, caring, and had a love of rock music. Those close to him remember his contagious smile and charisma.
He is survived by his children Destiny, Desiree, Daniella, Brandon, Gabriella, and Oscar Jr., his mother Yolanda, his granddaughters Janaiya, Katherine, and Loveeya, and his siblings Claudia, Jose, Cristina, Sarai, and Janet.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me besides quiet waters, He restores my soul; He guides me in paths of righteousness for his namesake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows; surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
-Psalm 23
You live in our hearts; gone, but never forgotten. You will be missed dearly.
