20 janvier 193510 septembre 2021

Roberto Alegria Olvera, 86, was born on January 20, 1935 to parents Jose Carmen Olvera and Ynes Alegria, in DF, Mexico. Roberto immigrated to the United States at the age of 17. Soon after he met his beautiful and ever fashionable wife Oralia Martinez Olvera. Roberto and his wife called Cashion, AZ home and they were pillers and leaders in their community. Together they built a family and had three children. Roberto was a tremendously hard-working man, a value he passed on to his children and grandchildren.

He kept busy and eagerly learned new trades and skills. He was a self-educated entrepreneur, after years working in trades, he started investing in property and real estate. Roberto worked hard to build a legacy for future generations; often putting the needs of his family before his own. Yet, he prioritized spending quality time with his family.

Roberto passed away on September 10th, 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife Oralia Olvera, his children (Nora Castillo, Nina Olvera, and Robert Jamie Olvera), his eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

I always admired my Tio Roberto, a kind, quiet family man.

I remember talking with him at the Martinez family reunion. Sitting there with his straw hat. A few us had gathered around him, we had fun wearing his hat.

Love you familia,
Lucy
