Samantha was born to Mary & Donald Satterfield on November 14, 1974 at the Maricopa County Hospital. Samantha grew up in South Phoenix, as a child Sam was the only child living with her two parents who raised her, but her grand parents also lived next door on 1st ave Elwood st. Sam's grandfather also helped raise her who was a hillbilly from West Virginia named Frank, who was a blue grass country music artist, that is why Sam loved country music and her country roots. Frank also was an animal lover with many exotic animals, that is where Sam learned her love for animals. Sam always had animals and the last animals she had were her Tiger Stripe Tia, which she took everywhere and dared someone to tell her she couldn't. Also her other doggies Bell & Rocko, also her Cats a 25 pound Maine Coon Bobbie and Cassie. Samantha attended Rio Vista Elementary as a child, Sam had open heart surgery at 6 years old in the 1st grade, but in the 3rd grade started to walk to school and back by herself. Samantha met several friends at Rio Vista Elementary, that are still her friends to this day like Tammy Jones Strong, Tammy Franks Black, Tandy Yates, Tammy Ogaz, and Leilani. In the 80's the decade Sam loved, 80s music her favorite was Debbie Gibson and Prince. Also in the 80s & 90s Sam got to spend time with her brothers and sister's from another marriage Steven McOsker and Tina McOsker and Angela and John Satterfield. Samantha loved her brothers and sisters even though she didn't get to see them as much, being they lived separated households. When her sister Angela had children Sam loved becoming an aunt to her babies Ricky and Sandra as she helped her sister. In 1995, she met the love of her life Larry while working at the airport referenced their encounter as to the lyrics the Watching the planes go by of the song "Always getting better by Blue Rodeo." From Your Husband, Samantha I remember the the first time I met Samantha I was the night manager at Demarco's Gift shop at Terminal 2 at the airport it was after 4pm I just came in for my shift. The day manager Dina just got done interviewing Samantha and hired her, was walking her through the gift shop and Dina called me over to meet the new hire because Samantha would be working the night shift and I would be her boss. I remember I was across the room when I saw Samantha and she was gorgeous, another employee named Angie caught me staring and told me "Wow I seen the way you looked at her like a little kid" I was embarrassed because she was right and I replied "No i wasn't." So I went and greeted Samantha, when we would hire new cashiers we were supposed to remind them you just weren't cashier you had to clean and stock and price, so I almost ruined my chances of ever being with Sam because she later told me, her first impression of me is that I was a Jerk lol, because the first thing I said to her is "you know you have to clean, price and stock your not just a cashier" and she found that rude. So I almost blew what GOD had brought into my life. I do believe Me and Samantha meeting was fate and GOD brought us together. Samantha and I, were both ending bad relationships with others when we met. At Demarco's there was four cashiers from 12:30-9pm, two cashiers from 4:30 to 1 am. That left me with Samantha alone being she worked the late shift with me, so when their was no customers we were left alone to talk and that is when we knew we were meant to be. I cannot believe it Samantha was 20 years old, with no kids and I was 30 years old single dad with 4 kids oldest Diane Telles, Christina Telles, Larry Telles and Crystal Telles, who she became an instant mother of 4 and was a great mom taking them to school, doctors visits and took care of all their needs at home and loved them as her own til her last breath there wasnt anything she wouldnt do for her kids. But i really thought I didn't have a chance especially when other employees where telling her don't date him he has kids. So I got up the courage one night to ask her on a date to go see a movie and she said yes. I was so happy and then I and Sam started dating, shortly after that we ended up together so we rented a studio at the Flamingo Inn until we could find an apartment, then we found apartment called Country Club apartments off 7st Thomas and stayed there for a year until we found a home for our family. In 1996 we bought a house on 8446 W. Monterosa St, and lived there and raised our children for 16 years. Then Samantha became pregnant in 1996 she was so excited about becoming a mother which our son was born September 20, 1996 she named him Jacob Telles, she was beaming when he was born even though there was complications with the pregnancy and Jacob was born four weeks premature. But I remember Sam even though she was told not to she insist on breast feeding Jacob. Then in 1998 Sam got pregnant for the 2nd time even though her doctors told her not to pregnant because of the prior complications had to wear a pump in the leg her entire pregnancy on the day she went into labor we were at the hospital they had to run her to emergency C-section to get our son Jordan Telles out, but by the grace of GOD he was born they both could have died, but god had other plans and he was born that day on August 18, 1998. Sam was so happy to become a mother for the 2nd time. Sam had two baby boys and her four older children, at the time Sam did not drive so people would see Sam pushing a stroller and our other children to stores and to take them out for the day. Which Sam went on to name our family the Brady Bunch because we had 3 boys and 3 girls. In 2000, Sam and the family became members of Calvary Community Church, when later she became a usher and volunteer for many other things. Samantha loved inviting her family and friends to church so they can find Jesus like she did and many were lead to Christ by the seed Samantha planted. Samantha was loved by all the people she met, because she was filled with love. Many neighbors at Cottages at Haywood Apartments loved her and became best friends with her. One time one of her neighbors, was locked outside and it was cold and Sam gave him the jacket off her back to him, but that is how Sam was she would do anything for anyone. Sam never tried to act like someone she wasn't even though she was married to her husband who is Mexican American, but she did accept being a Telles full forced, went to all the family parties and functions the Telles family accepted her and loved her dearly. Sam is a Telles and will always be a Telles forever..
